“I think it is great having an extra set of eyes. It is hard to be in two places at the same time.”

About Us
Our Story
The Hallway Hero Project is a non profit organization that was created by a family who has a passion to connect families and provide enhanced safety for our children at school.
Who We Are
The Hallway Hero Project is a nonprofit organization that engages fathers and all parental figures in a volunteer school program driven to enhance school safety and connect to our children.
The hallway and parking lot presence aids in the much-needed additional safety in schools. Our training includes Behavioral Threat Detection training from a long-time security expert in the field. We do not carry weapons, but when we see something, we say something. We have immediate access to the school SRO.
Safety within our Schools
Enriching Students
Thirdly, just as our training focuses on keeping a prepared set of eyes and ears for safety concerns, it also focuses on emotional issues such as bullying or signs of detachment that can be escalated to the school counselor or staff as appropriate.
Serving Schools and our Children
We thrive to engage fathers and all parental figures to enrich their students as volunteer helpers in multiple capacities and increase their knowledge of what a “school day” looks like for their child. We hope this will bring a new spark to their relationship. Grandparents are an amzing help and their students are so grateful to see them during the day.
